So I am one of those people that loves kids movies. I loved Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. I was thrilled when they announced a Minions movie. Though I don't seek out when a movie is coming out and wait by the computer to book tickets, for this one I did...or at least I tried.
Throughout all of India, Minions was released on July 10th. All except for in Tamil Nadu. Why? Because the movie Bahubali! Tamil Nadu decided to take this Telugu movie, dub it in Tamil and release it on July 10th. This caused them to postpone the release of Minions.
I called the theater to see when Minions would be released in Chennai. The attendant said he believed it would release the following Friday.
But NO!
The treachery continued when it was postponed for a second week. So I have vowed not to see the movie that ruined my plans for fun and enjoyment in this ridiculous city. Not that I actually had any interest. And as they don't subtitle the Tamil movies there really is no point.
And so in honor of the movie finally coming out after a two week delay I crocheted Kevin, Stuart, and Bob.

It actually turned out quite funny. The pattern I found online to make these guys was in Spanish. And as it turns out, also in English if you scrolled to the bottom. Which I only figured out after making Kevin. But it was actually kind of fun trying to figure out what the Spanish pattern translated to. And I felt like I could say I had tried something new, which is getting harder to say.
